The life jacket is not optional
The life jacket must be included in any serious outing. It is not enough to wear it loose or pick any size: it has to fit well and allow movement.
For minors, the life jacket and size are even more important. If you go as a family, check jet ski with children before booking.
Maximum weight and two-seater skis
A ski being a two-seater does not mean any combination of two people is valid. Each model has a weight and stability limit, and the operator may restrict passengers due to sea conditions or safety.
If two adults are riding, ask about the real capacity, maximum weight and whether the price includes a passenger. We also explain it in two-seater jet ski.
What to ask the operator
Ask if they have life jackets in different sizes, children's life jackets, a weight limit per ski and conditions for swapping rider. It is a one-minute conversation that avoids a problem at the base.
If you go as a group, work out people per ski with some margin. Sometimes it is worth booking an extra ski or splitting into rounds.
| Situation | What it means | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Adult life jacket | Must fit well | Do not agree to go out if it is loose. |
| Child life jacket | Specific size | Confirm it before booking with children. |
| Two-seater | Depends on max weight | Ask about real capacity, not just seats. |
| Group | Several skis | Work out occupancy and rounds with the operator. |
