Where to rent a jet ski on the Costa del Sol

By alquilarmotodeagua.es · Updated in 2026 · ~5 min read

The Costa del Sol is one of Spain's top destinations for jet skiing: almost guaranteed sun, warm sea and dozens of bases spread along the Málaga coast. If you are not sure which town to start with, this guide helps you choose the area that best fits you.

A coast made for the water

From Estepona to Nerja, the province of Málaga has a huge boating offer. The Alborán Sea is usually calm in summer and temperatures are pleasant from May to October. You can see all the companies at jet ski rental on the Costa del Sol.

Marbella and Puerto Banús

Marbella is the epicentre of Costa del Sol glamour and a classic for stag/hen dos and groups. Routes towards the Nueva Andalucía coast leave from Puerto Banús. See the offer at jet ski in Marbella.

Fuengirola, Benalmádena and Torremolinos

The central stretch brings together wide beaches and lots of activity. Fuengirola and Benalmádena are perfect for families, and Torremolinos adds atmosphere and services. See Fuengirola and Benalmádena.

Estepona and Málaga city

Estepona, further west, offers a somewhat quieter atmosphere, while Málaga city lets you combine city and sea. You have both at Estepona and Málaga.

Tips before booking

On the Costa del Sol there are plenty of no-license outings with an instructor, ideal for groups. Check the options in our PER vs no license guide and, if it is your debut, the first-time guide. Do not forget the checklist.
